Emma’s Garden

7.3"  x  6.9"   on 16/32 count fabric

So sweet and charming, this design is a “must stitch”. It shows a precious child in a garden of hollyhocks and lavender, she holds white roses with satin ribbons. Combinations of embroidery stitches using Pearl Cotton and floss create the illusion of real lace across the bottom like a picket fence enclosing her garden.

The top of the fabric needs to be dyed so that she has sunshine on top and the darker blue is a background for the lace.
