The inspiration to create the Winds Through The Olive Trees design was the memory of a children’s Christmas song that was much more popular in Europe than in the U.S. Very little is known of its origin. Those of us who do know the song, remember it from our early childhood. This design uses three skeins of a Dinky Dyes silk floss color created and sold exclusively for use in this design.
