Take Time to Knit. What compares to the calming click of needles and the softness of yarn through your fingers? From Jeannette Douglas’ Take Time series.

Description

Take Time to Knit from the Take Time Series. This design features sheep, a spinning wheel, and knitted goodies of all varieties: hats, mittens, sweaters, scarves, and more. Perfect craft room decor. The afghan in the top right corner is the highlight of the piece – it is literally knitted with your needle and thread, and tacked into place – don’t worry, there are good instructions!

The sampler contains 18 boxes, done in a palette of over-dyed silks. Many “specialty” stitches are used – there are diagrams and written instructions for all of them, making this design approachable – if you have patience (and Google), your initial skill level with specialty stitches will not be important.
