Description
When Witches Go Riding, from The Prairie Schooler.
Designed by Pamela Byrd Smith, © 2008.
The centerpiece poem reads ‘When Witches go riding and black cats are seen, the moon laughs & whispers, ’tis near Halloween’ creating a delightfully spooky verse sampler. The traditional Halloween imagery includes a row of grinning jack-o’-lanterns, a silhouetted witch and cat against a crescent moon, and a charming red cottage nestled among bare autumn trees, all framed with a decorative border featuring additional Halloween motifs.
