This authentic reproduction features a poignant verse about the passage of time framed by traditional sampler motifs including stylized flowering trees and decorative basket designs. The piece maintains the classic proportions and layout style typical of 1830s American samplers, with its characteristic geometric vine border and balanced arrangement of alphabets, numerals, and ornamental elements.
Supplies Needed to Stitch MN-ASB “Ann Smith Blockley 1834”
Stitched on 45ct Vintage Meadow Rue (discontinued) with Soie 100/3 Silks. We recommend 40 count Earthen Linen. DMC conversion is used for our kit.
