The three ships represent the Nina, the Pinta and the Santa Maria. They are the small flotilla of vessels that set sail from Palos de la Frontera in Spain on 3rd August 1492 with the Italian explorer Christopher Columbus and a crew of ninety men in search of the New World.
Time & Tide wait for no man and Columbus certainly didn’t let slip an opportunity either.
